Divine Goodness

Divine Goodness

Inner Peace Comes Only From Divine Goodness

Our attitude has an impact that can keep us from growing spiritually. A bad attitude impacts the way we live, and hurts those around us, negatively influencing our family, our friends, and our church community. We must commit ourselves to keeping a positive attitude, for negative thinking will not make anything better. Complaining is a sure sign that we are turning our backs on emancipation from the power of sin and death we’ve received through Christ, and is in opposition to the message of the Gospels.

The ultimate answer to undoing negativity in our life is to seek out Divine Goodness. The inner peace we so desire can only be ours when our conscience is appeased, and this can come about only with the Fountain of Life. This Divine peace can only be ours when God implants it like a seed in our hearts. Only this will impart peace to our soul. Although we seek after inner peace, it can not come to us through our friendships, or our family. It can only come from God. The world only offers us hell, but God gives us eternal life.

With love in Christ,

Abbot Tryphon
